DAY 1
Johannesburg
Arrive at Thambo International Airport. Meet and greet local English speaking guide. Johannesburg is regarded as the financial, industrial and cultural giant of South Africa and lies in the heartland of the Gauteng Province. This large city grew from a modest shanty town following the discovery of gold in 1886. You will be taken on a guided tour of Gold Reef City, just south of the city center. During your guided tour you will, amongst others descend 220m underground and see a bar of gold being poured. Lunch in Johannesburg
After lunch enjoy an orientation city tour of Pretoria, the administrative capital of South Africa. Visit the Voortrekker Monument and Church Square which is dominated by the bronze statue of Paul Kruger, as well as the Union Buildings where Nelson Mandela was sworn in as the first President of democratic South Africa in 1994. Drive to your hotel in the late afternoon for check-in. Dinner at the hotel.

DAY 2
Sun City
After Breakfast you will travel to the North West Province of South Africa and the resort complex of Sun City. DAY 3
Pilansberg National Park
After breakfast you will be transferred to the Pilansberg National Park. After arriving at the lodge the group can have lunch. After lunch you will start your flirst open vehicle game drive. An abundance of wild life proliferates in 580 km of diverse and arresting bushveld terrain. The park is home to healthy populations of lion, leopard, black and white rhino, elephant and buffalo - Africa's "Big Five". A wide variety of rare and common species exist like the nocturnal brown hyena, the fleet-footed cheetah, the majestic sable, as well as giraffe, zebra, hippo and crocodile, to mention but a few.
The Ivory Tree Lodge offers a more private Pilanesberg game experience as the northern region receives far lower visitor numbers, yet is still completely accessible to guests. DAY 4
Pilansberg - Johannesburg - Cape Town
After your early morning game drive and breakfast you will drive to Johannesburg International airport. Depart Johannesburg for your flight to Cape Town. After arriving in Cape Town meet and greet your local English speaking guide and visit beautiful Table Mountain (weather permitting and included in the price) with its magnificent view over Table Bay before transferring to your hotel for check-in. The rest of the evening is for your leisure. Dinner at Saigon restaurant

DAY 5
Peninsula
After breakfast depart on a full day excursion of the Cape Peninsula. The drive takes you along the Atlantic Seaboard passing Sea Point, Clifton and Camps Bay to Hout Bay. Continue via the scenic Chapman's Peak Drive to the Cape Point Nature Reserve and Cape Point, the most south-westerly point of Africa and where many believe the cold Benguela current on the West coast and the warm Agulhas current on the East coast merge. Take a scenic trip with the funicular to the old lighthouse. Visit the Cape Point Ostrich farm. Lunch at the ostrich farm.
Continue to Simonstown and visit Boulders Beach with its colony of African Penguins. End your day with a visit Groot Constantia for a wine tasting. Return to your hotel and the rest of the afternoon is for your leisure until you transfer to dinner.

DAY 6
Cape Town
After breakfast check out of the hotel and drive to the V & A Waterfront for some last minute shopping before your transfer to Cape Town International airport.
