Heidi Brown-Koelble
I have been involved in Incoming Tourism to Southern Africa since 1979. Having founded Egoli in 1983 in Johannesburg, I moved my business and my family to Cape Town in 2000. I have travelled extensively throughout Botswana, Kenya, Lesotho, Mauritius, Mozambique, Namibia, Reunion, Swaziland, Tanzania, Zambia, Zanzibar and of course my home country, South Africa. My broad subject knowledge and my passion for these destinations form the strength of Egoli and enables us to design the best possible journey for our clients.

Sharon Jeftha
I was born and raised in Cape Town but most of all I am proudly a Capetonian at heart. My career in the hospitality industry started in 1997 and I moved to the tourism industry in 2004. Since then I have had the opportunity to journey and explore South Africa as the beautiful and magnificent country that she is. Starting at Egoli has made me realize as a person that there is more to explore and by broadening my horizons I would be able to offer more to our vast group of clients. Offering them not only Southern Africa in its splendor but welcoming them to our family at Egoli. Being a consultant gives me the opportunity to be creative and productive in my job. I welcome all challenges and strongly believe that I can enrich others with our beautiful countries in Southern Africa. Egoli Tours a place where dreams and wonders, became more than a reality.

Julia Shepherd
I was born and raised in a German town called Ludwigsburg and from an early age on, I was fascinated by exotic countries and different cultures. After completing my studies in International Tourism in Heidelberg, Germany . I came to Cape Town in 2004 for an internship at a guest house. I found the natural beauty and diversity of Cape Town as well as the friendly and welcoming South Africans inspiring and decided to permanently stay in Cape Town. Since then I have had the opportunity to gain a lot of experience in the flight and hotel industry as well as with various tour operators. My passion is to create holidays for our clients that fulfill all their individual expectations and wishes and to show them the most beautiful places in Southern Africa. On weekends I love being outside, enjoying Cape Town's fantastic outdoors, spending some time at the beach with my friends and running along the scenic Sea Point promenade.

Susanne Laumer
I grew up in the Northern part of Germany in a village, close to Hamburg. I have always been passionate about traveling and exploring foreign countries which is why I decided to work in the travel industry. After two and a half years I successfully completed an apprenticeship as a travel agent. Thereafter I was employed on a permanent basis in the corporate travel department. During that time I gained a lot of experience dealing with people's various travel requests. In January 2009 I decided to move to Cape Town - initially only for a few months - however I was quickly fascinated by the beautiful landscapes and friendly people of South Africa - therefore I call Cape Town my home city now. At Egoli Tours I am working as a tour consultant which gives me the opportunity to do what I enjoy most: creating individual tour itineraries throughout Southern Africa and fulfilling our clients' travel dreams.

Charissa Cloete
I was born in Bloemfontein, the capital of the Free State but my parents relocated to the fairest Cape when I was 3-years old and am a true Capetonian by heart and soul. It comes to no surprise that since my mother is Austrian, we as a family often travelled to Europe throughout my childhood years - and hence the "travel bug" bit me. I completed my National Diploma in Tourism Management at the Cape Technikon in 1999 and have ever since been in Travel & Tourism. In June 2001, I came to the UK on a 2-year working/holiday visa to fulfill a childhood dream to travel the world and meeting people from different countries. During this time I have travelled extensively throughout Europe, the UK, Scotland and Ireland. The lifetime experiences I gained working and traveling abroad are invaluable to me. The last 7 years I worked for one of South Africa's largest and renowned Travel Companies - andBeyond (previously also known as CC Africa Safaris). Over the years I have accumulated a wealth of firsthand knowledge of South and Southern Africa, and delight to share this in exciting and personalized itineraries for our guests. For work purposes I had the privilege to represent the respective companies I worked for at Tourism Fares in Berlin, our South African showcase INDABA and a Sales Trip to the USA. I am a professional, hard-working and enthusiastic individual who takes pride in my work. My passion is to create dream holidays for our guests and to leave them with unforgettable stories and memories of their time in Africa! My greatest reward is to have fulfilled these dreams, see the smile on their faces and hear the words: "we will be back" I am ready to delight you!
